More rumors about Apple’s fall lineup
CNN is re-posting details from an Apple Insider post about the upcoming changes to the MacBooks, MacBook Pros, and various other members of the Apple family. If the rumors are correct, one of my biggest compaints about the MacBook Pro has been addressed, i.e. the lack of a user-upgradable hard disk (I ran out of space on my 120GB drive almost immediately – damn media files!). It also sounds like the MacBooks may get upgraded from a plastic case to an aluminum one, which would be a big improvement in my book. If their projections are right we should know in the next 2-3 weeks. The only thing that’s a bit strange about all this is the fact that they’ve missed the back-to-school season, but they will be well positioned for holiday shopping.
